Blog Post 2

As years pass by life in general changes. Teaching in the 21st century teachers are expected to know how to use all sorts of technology like smart boards and tablets. Technology is pretty much all over the classrooms because teachers have to use smart boards when presenting certain things to their students, computers for keeping up with grades, etc. Some of the changes are the teachers as a whole and the different gadgets that are continuously being introduce in the classrooms. Sometimes when technology improves it can either have a positive or negative effect in the classrooms. A positive thing is technology provides numerous useful learning tools that can be a big help to teachers. On the other hand the negative part with technology is how it can easily be a distraction to some or even all the students. Thanks to the distraction it can cause some students to fall behind just as it can also help some students to catch or keep up or be ahead of the game.

Blog Post 1

I haven't heard anything about this class beforehand. My only fear is making sure I beat all the deadlines. Compared to other classes I have taken EDM 310 might be easier because it's mostly projects and blogging. On the other hand the blogs might take some getting used to on making sure I am doing them correctly and checking my grammar. One way I can be mindful of my grammar usage is by after proofreading my blog entry taking a break from my blog and reading it again.

This is a new paragraph. I have lived in Pensacola, Florida my whole life. My major interests are reading and poetry. I've always wanted to attend USA ever since my junior year when the band instructor came to my high school and talked about USA's band program. Ironically, I am no longer in band. I have three older brothers and one older sister. Yes, it's true being the baby of the family is lots of fun. My family is very religious. When in need my family will try our best to help anybody to the best of our abilities.

For as long as I can remember I have always wanted to become a teacher. I always wanted a career where I can help others and be with kids. I help my sister raise one of our nieces since she was three months old and she's now three years old. I have many learning moments with her and when she learns something new her face just lights up. I enjoy seeing that look on her face because it makes me feel as if I am making a difference in her life already by teaching her the things I can or reinforcing what somebody else may have taught her as well.
